| 22 July 1922 | A.C.Reck , born in Krappitz, Upper Silesia (previously German now Polish). He left school for sea in 1938 on a merchant shipping line. It was taken over by the navy in 1940 into torpedo boats. He became a navigation instructor at Eckernförde in 1942. Was taken prisoner of war 1945. In 1946 he returned to school to complete matric in Hanover. Northern Germany 1947, he became a scholar of the artist and poet Hans Holtdorf in Bockholmwik. | |
